A job finally!

So so happy, today i've got myself a job at my local(ish) fish and chip restaurant, it's right on the beach. It's really lovely and i'm actually so excited to start working there.
I'm going to be on the ice cream thing so that'll be cute. :)

A happy Alice ox.

Bonjour Bloggers!

Sorry it's been a while, haven't had much to blog about! Thank you for your responses to all my previous blogs, it's been nice to know people are enjoying them :)

Today I have something I think is a lovely little idea to share with you all and it's FREE no catches! (I do not work for this company or have been paid to say this! I just generally like the idea of it all!
It's this little website I came across in my Cosmopolition magazine offering a free first box to all who ordered and used the cosmo code. The company it's self is called 'Graze' and is 'healthy eating by post' as they like to say. By ordering a Graze 'nibble box' you will recieve a selection of healthy snacks based on your tastes, which is then delievered through your letterbox for you to gobble!

I ordered one of these last Thursday (i think it was...) and it came today! I was rather excited to see what I recieved however slightly dissapointed with the variety of the foods supplied. As they all seemed to be nuts. But hey! It was free. The packaging was lovely and it was nice to be able to see how much effort the company had put into the design and presentation of the box.

(thought it was cute how they put my name on this!)

I would fully recommend ordered one of these boxes! They are free afterall, whats there to loose! What i would say though! is because you have to enter your card details (to comfirm nobodys ordering free boxes all the time etc) REMEMBER TO DELETE YOUR CARD DETAILS AFTER YOUR FIRST ORDER :)
Because if you don't they will send you one every week and charge you, but it's easy enough to cancel this and delete your details off the site.

Now go on girlies! Get yourself to http://www.graze.com/cosmo
and enter the promotion code: COSMOFREE

Exciting news girlies!

Me and the boyfriend (Dylan)...

have decided to go on holiday! Can't believe how cool my mam is being about the whole situation, I'm only a baby (16) and it's going to be my first holiday away on my own so to speak, so dead excited. She's even offered to pay so thats really lovely of her! We're thinking Malta in mid August, after our one year anniversary but before my venture to Leeds Festival. I've found this really gorgeous hotel for not a bad price at all and I'm now getting rather excited!

However, with a holiday comes the dreaded bikini body! So i'll probably be doing lots of sit ups and healthy eating to get myself a flat tummy. Give me any tips if you have them :) much appreciated.

Cannot wait to go holiday shopping though! I've seen some gorgeous swimming costumes in ASOS and also some supported, padded ones in La Senza as I like to look like I have some form of boob (which i don't!) in my bikini. Let me know if any of you have ever been to Malta and whats its like!

I'm currently handing out CV's to everywhere in the hope to get a job, I'm really desperate now. I've always liked the thought of having my own money but the fact i am no longer in education and ASOS have so many beautiful items I feel I must buy, I want one more than anything right now!

To help cure my clothing needs, here are some thing I'd like to buy if I had the moolah! (aka. money):

Now, this brand I actually discovered whilst browsing ASOS and my god! I am so glad i did. The brand is called 'Dahlia' and they sell the most beautiful dresses!I had never heard of them before so this came as a treasure to myself however after futher browse of their actual website I read that some of their dresses had been stocked in Topshop. I'm not sure if this is just the Oxford Street Topshop or what because I'd never noticed the brand in my local Topshop, but hey!

So the first dress I honestly fell in love with was the 'Vivienne spotty chiffon dress' shown bellow.

£60.00
The dress is absolutely stunning, plus I'm not overly confident with my upper arms so any dress which covers my upper arms but shows off my legs is already halfway up my street. The style of the dress itself is very vintage and reminds me of some of the things mammy bear used to wear in the 80's which i adore! The fact that it's of a chiffon material is also a mega plus as it's summer and is what us girlies need to be buying, especially on days like today when its been hot hot hot! So yes, this is a definate must by!

My next favourite, also from Dahlia Fashion is the 'Helena spotty tie waist dress' shown bellow.

£55.00

Anyone who knows me could tell you that I am not the most experimental girl with colour. I'm no goth, I just try to stick to the basic colours of black, white and navy generally because they go with anything and I believe I suit them well. However my boyfriend has commented on numerous ocassions that I'm a bit of a 'black lover' and seem to head straight for the black items in most shops. So I've been trying to experiment a little bit more and add a bit colour to my wardrobe. Especially when colour blocking is bang on trend, adding a bit of colour to any outfit can't hurt anyone! So this will come as a bit shock to him that I am loving this pink dress! At first i doubted it, wondering if it was a bit too 'minnie mouse' yet i couldn't help but think about jazzing it up with some killer wedges and leather jacket for a bit of contrast. This is a dress I will most definately be purchasing, it's gorgeous!

And last but not least from the Dahlia Fashion range 'Jessie' Dobby Cotton laced edged dress. Again shown bellow.

£62.00

I think this dress speaks for itself! Vintage style must by in my opinion! Again another addition of a bit of colour to my wardrobe and the rope tie around the middle adds so much to the detail of the dress overall. Stunning.

Here's a few other things I've got my eye on!:
Vintage Pyramid Metal Tip Clutch
£18.00
(although worth checking out Primark as there is a very similar clutch in stock for around £5.00)

Colour Block Shopper
£20.00

Red Cat Eye Sunglasses
£12.00

Righto! Thats all for now lovlies, hope this is of some help! Let me know whether or not it was of ANY interest whatsoever! Sorry it's a bit shit, I'm new to this stuff & its very late! 3:34 in the morn man!

Night night mucho love, Alice ox.

Geordie Shore

Firstly a rant! Last night I ended up being too tired to do another post although i really wanted to do one, it just wasn't working for me. So I promised myself I'd do another tonight. However it's just took me about half an hour JUST to log in to my blogger.
NOW this is somewhat my fault for being so forgetful, making too many gmail accounts and forgetting which password goes with which account. But I also believe this is partly google mails fault, because of thier overly complicated website. Full of captcha's at every stage which I probably spent about 20 minutes of the 30 'decoding' because the letters we're ridiculously close together and it's canny late! This kid's is why we use Hotmail!

If you did not want to read my pointless rant skip to here...

Righto, Geordie Shore finale tonight poppets and i'm proud to say for the whole 4 weeks or how long it was on, I was absolutely obsessed! At first I was the one moaning saying it will make Newcastle look bad but from the first episode I was in love. I don't know if it was just because I regonised all the places they went or if it is just a generally good programme, give me your views on this!
For all who don't know I'm from Newcastle and I couldn't think of any other place I'd rather live, it's a really lovely place! However, nobody I know acts like that, ever ever! I mean i'm just as game as the next person for a drink or night out BUT we dont all 'bang' each other all of the time and not many lads have permanent spray tans and wax their eyebrows. At least I hope they don't...
Yet, I honestly can't wait for the Malia special or next week's round up of the whole thing with the interviews of the cast and everything buzzing! This is most likely because I'm on study leave and currently have no life whatsoever!

But yes give me your opinions on Geordie Shore, I want to know if I'm really sad or quite normal!

Aha.

Bonjour Blogger

As you can probably tell by my lack of posts, lack of followers and not very professional looking blog, I am new to this malarky. Tumblr is the nearest i've ever got to a blog however it does not completely satisfy my blogging needs and the lovely Zoe better known as 'Zoella' (http://schoee.blogspot.com/) and her gorgeous blog has influenced me to make one!

I have no idea what I shall use this blog for probably just a bit chit chat with the people of the internet, a bit of fashion, reviews and other shannanagins! And hopefully one day! this blog will improve greatly.

I'm probably going to get into the swing of things after I've posted this and post a proper blog but everyone has to start somewhere and my somewhere is this rubbish post!

ANYHOWWW, today has been a lovely day I have been for a cavery in Tynemouth which is a lovely local seaside village about 10 minutes down the road from where I live. I first realised it was there when the cast of Geordie Shore went there last week and the food looked so delicious I just HAD to get one! It was honestly gorgeous! mmm. So yes, if your ever in Tynemouth get yourself to that carvery!

Mucho Love, Alice ox
